Finally, a breath of fresh air.

Alright, so now that things have finally settled down on this end, maybe I can finally keep up on this thing. Things have been just so chaotic the last week and a half that I'm surprised I'm still able to complete a thought. FH's been suffering from a random pain in his right side. He's been in the hospital twice for it and they still have no idea what's causing the pain. They've done countless tests and they kept him for observation for a few nights and still no reason as to why it's there. They ruled out his appendix the first time I took him in. And then they thought it was his intestines, but nothing showed up on any of his tests. Poor guy was walking around like Quasimodo from "Hunchback of Notre Dame" because his pain is so bad that he couldn't stand up straight. Thankfully, the pain has gone away for the most part, so he's sticking to a strict diet and limited activity in hopes that it won't flair up again.

Because of the chaos surrounding FH, my mom and I have kind of been slacking on wedding stuff. We got the invitations done the night before I took FH in for the first time, but I have yet been able to get a photo of them. We also received my garter in the mail the other day. It's a surprise for FH. He's under the impression that we're not doing a garter toss, but when I saw this, I couldn't help myself to get it for him.

He's a HUGE Iowa Hawkeyes fan as he grew up in Iowa. He probably has well over 100 different items all black and gold for the Hawkeyes. So I figured this would be a good addition to his little collection.

We also found out this last weekend that we have to go back to David's Bridal and re-order the bridesmaids dresses. All of the dresses are at least a size too big on the girls. They fit perfectly in the store, and yet, we order them and they don't freaking fit. I think I'm just irritated with David's Bridal to begin with. I tried to talk my mom out of going there, but she just doesn't seem to listen. Sometimes I hate that my mom is doing the planning. But at least it's saving me time and money by having her do all of the dirty work.

There's still quite a few things we have left to do, but at this point, I really can't remember what all it is. But I promise that as soon as I remember and have something blog worthy, I will be sure to update ya'll. =]

PS- A little fun fact that FH and I found earlier. November 13, 1851 - The Denny Party, landed at Alki Point, the first settlers in what would be Seattle, WA. The reason why we think this is cool is because we met while living in Seattle, our first date was at Alki Beach and November 13th is our wedding day. So we thought it was pretty neat. =D
