Alright, I am so sorry that I have not updated in what seems like forever. (Which it really has been, Haha!) Things have been absolutely chaotic around here lately. FH has been in and out of the hospital as well as being busy with going to work and we've had several family emergencies arise that we've had to deal with.
Now that things have calmed down for the most part, I can fill everyone in on what's going on.
We finally got all of the invites done. Every last one of them is printed and addressed. We're just waiting until October 1st to mail them out, which seems like it will never get here. We also got all of our programs printed up and put together. Took us FOREVER to get them done because our printer kept messing up and didn't want to print them, but it finally got done.
We also reserved our DJ. And he's cutting us an amazing deal! We get his services from 7pm to 1am for only $500. Which is not bad because he usually charges $125 an hour. I'm really excited to have him DJ our reception because I know he knows what he's doing as he's a radio personality here in my hometown and has done countless weddings around town.
And despite all of the drama that has occurred within the process, all of my bridesmaids are finally set with all of their travel plans to get here. I only have two that have to travel to get here, but one of them has put some serious stress into the entire ordeal. But, it's all sorted finally and she has her plane ticket out here.
We also have a meeting tomorrow evening with a make up artist for the day of the wedding. We were hoping to get a package deal with a hair and make up artist, but apparently those are entirely impossible to find in this town. We're having the hardest time finding someone who knows how to do formal hair dos. I didn't know that formal hair dos were something that was quickly becoming extinct now a days.
Otherwise, things are going good. We're 106 days away and time is going by so quickly. I remember when we were still over 300 days away. I promise I will get on here more often and update everyone. And the next time I get on, I'll put up some pictures of everything we've gotten done so far. =]
